Team In-Service #1 Invisalign. Feel Free to Use For Your Own Practice!

We now have a super motivated team with “all in” type of employees. I am surrounded by nothing but POSITIVE attitudes these days! They are hungry to learn more and do more and I’ll do anything to encourage that!

I started implementing a monthly team “in-service” meeting. This isn’t a type of meeting where we discuss metrics or office issues, but rather one where we look OUTSIDE of ourselves to see what else is happening in the world of dentistry. I am excited to introduce my team to podcasts, videos, and online mini classes that they don’t know exist.

Last week we listened to The Thriving Dentist Podcast with Gary Takacs and featuring Dr. David Eshom called “How I Became a Top 1% Invisalign Provider.

Now, because I have a teaching background, you know I had to create a Invisalign in-service study guide for my team to use to follow along with the podcast. I wanted to make sure that they were getting the points that I thought were important. They now also have some great written notes of that podcast to keep in their office manuals! Another added benefit to the study guide? When we have new employees, they can listen to the podcast and they can have the same study guide. I can be confident that they will take away the same information and that all of my team is always on the same page and level of understanding!

My plan is to include our in-service topics and study guides in my blogs so that other offices can use them with their practices. So if you don’t subscribe to my blogs, please subscribe now so you will get an immediate notification when a new in-service is available.

I cannot tell you how excited I am about these in-services! (Or maybe you can tell?!) Not only was the first one fun, but I could see an immediate change in our team. They had a renewed energy and understanding about what we are trying to do for our patients. I can tell that doing this regularly will enrich our team beyond my expectations. It’s refreshing for me (and for my team) to hear/see information from other people. It’s only going to help our team and our patients…and isn’t that what it’s all about?
